He is not realy from the oldies. He started surfacing on the music scene right when woyanes enter Addis Ababa. So, I don't know if you consider that oldies era. I remember him being a goal keeper for kebele 33, during soccer tournament of kebeles in Addis Ababa. For those of you who don't know where, Kebele 33 is, it locates around Enderasie hotel, Agoza gebeya, 5 minute walking distance from kazanchis. I also used to see him practice his music by this joint on Pushkin street, right beside russian exibition.

Now, I don't know where he at.

I totally agree as Gerawork being one of the super talented Ethiopian artists! For those of you who want to know his whereabouts, he lives in Virginia!
