ArifZefen is a site that is designed to give people just a whiff of the amazing talent and traditions in the world of Ethiopian music.  Throughout the trials and tribulations our nation has had to go through, Ethiopian artists continue to produce music that not only inspires but uplifts the spirit and makes us feel that all is well.   While they're not busy serenading us, they're giving us music that reduces us to dancing fiends for those few minutes we're on the dance floor or in front of the mirror.  And did we mention that they can take us back and forth in time and unlock the most distant memories that we thought were lost forever...and all of this without any psychoanalysis?  This is a tribute to the greatest music artists in the world.

ArifZefen has evolved over time as we have tried to address concerns about making concrete contributions towards helping advance the cause of Ethiopian artists.  We are currently in the process of implementing features that will allow our artists and their representatives to promote their upcoming events and albums to targeted or international audiences.  We will continue looking for new ways to help these artists, and we're open to suggestions on how else we can advance these causes.
